PROFILE
Ivory Coast international signed in February 2002. Toure has developed into an integral member of the Arsenal back four and is one of the most highly-rated centre-backs in the country. After an outstanding partnership with former Gunner Sol Campbell, Toure is now the experienced leader of Wenger's defence. A very versatile player, Toure can also operate in midfield as well as at right-back. Signed a new long-term deal with the Gunners in October 2006
